Wooden Shoes
Der Song erzählt die Geschichte von einem Mädchen,
das mal eben schnell ein Paar Holzschuhe anzieht, um aus dem Garten
Schnittlauch zu holen. Doch als es sich bückt, hört
es plötzlich Musik. Verwundert und etwas ungelenk wiegt
es sich langsam im Rythmus, denn es muss vorsichtig sein,
dass es nicht aus den Holzschlapfen kippt. The
song tells the story of a girl, who
puts some wooden shoes on shortly, in order to get chives from the
garden. But when it bends, it hears music suddenly. Surprised and
something awkward it sways slowly in the rhythm, because it has to be
be careful that it does not drop out from the wooden shoes.
2 Gadada
Ein Lied, das es hier eigentlich nicht geben sollte. Weil ich es nicht
will, irgendwelche Songs nachzuspielen oder zu covern. Aber diesmal
musste ich eine Ausnahme machen, weil mir dieses Fragment einfach immer
wieder unterkommt. Es handelt sich also nicht um eine Coverversion des
bekannten Iron Butterfly Klassikers, sondern es ist das eine
völlig selbständige nochmalige Neuerfindung
meinerseits.
A song, which actually should
not be
here. Because I don't want it, to re-enact any song or to do a cover
version. But this time I had to make an exception, because I discover
this fragment again and again. This is no cover-version of the
well-known Iron Butterfly classic therefore, but it is a completely
independent repeated new concotion by myself.
3 The Day Of The Sun
Wenn es im Mai endlich wieder warm wird und die Bäume wieder
grün werden und das Erdäpfelkraut aus dem Acker
hervorkommt, dann ist es es die Sonne, die mir so schön warm
auf den Bauch scheint, wenn ich auf der Bank vor dem Haus sitze und mit
den Zehen wackle...Das ist dann der Tag der Sonne.
If
it becomes warm in May finally and the
trees become green again, and the potato-leaves comes out from the
field , then it is it the sun, which shines so beautifully warm to me
on the belly, if I sit on the banquette in front of the house waggeling
with the toes... that then is the day of the sun.
4 Sufficiently Horsepower
Doch bevor es soweit ist, fahren wir aus mit unserem Traktor, unserem
220 PS Ungeheuer, und treiben mit der Turboladermaschine das
Gerät über den Acker. Aus dem Auspuff kommen schwarze
Wolken. Und wir hören in der Fahrerkabine über
Kopfhörer diesen Song.
But before this
time has come, we drive
out with our tractor, our 220 HP monster, and push the machine with the
turbocharger engine over the field. From the exhaust black clouds come.
And we hear this song in the operator's cab over headphones.
5 The Night
Wenn das Saatbeet gerichtet ist und die Maschine wieder in der Garage
steht, dann kommt die Nacht und damit ein leichter Morgenfrost. Das ist
der Erdäpfelsaat aber ziemlich egal, weil sie liegt ja
schön warm unter der Erde.
If the seedling
bed is prepared and the
machine is located again in the garage, then the night comes and thus a
mild morning frost. However that fairly never minds the potato seed,
because this lies beautifully warmly underground.
6 Potates Attakh
Nun, auf gehts, der Boden ist trocken, er klumpt nicht und klebt nicht
am Stahl, der durchgezogen wird. Es macht richtig Spass, heute durch
den Erdäpfelacker zu knattern. Die Steine fliegen links und
rechts davon, nur gut dass da keiner in der Nähe steht. So
ziehen wir eine Schar nach der anderen, und wenn es auch manchmal
schwerer geht, da gibt der glattrasierte Bursche im Fahrersitz einfach
noch mehr Gas und schon ist er durch. Er fährt heute seine
Erdapfelattacke.
Well, let's go! the

einen ganzen Dschungel. Bei mir gibt es hingegen nur ein wenig vom
Unkraut, das entlang dem Feldweg steht. This
Hendrix plugged orchids into our
ears, and Harvey Mandel a whole jungle. However you get only a little
from the weeds besides the cartway from me.
8 Twin Tyres
Mit dem Traktor hab ichs manchmal. Und wenn es in die Wiese gehen soll,
dann brauchen wir eben Zwillingsreifen.
I
have a concern with the tractor
sometimes. And if we drive down into the meadow, then we need evenly
twin tyres.
9 Daily
Shave
Jeden Tag dasselbe Ritual: morgens Schaum ins Gesicht und mit dem
Rasiermesser glattgezogen.
The same
ritual each day: foam in the
face in the morning and clean-faced with the razor-blade.
10 Tillage
Gestern war der Traktor kaputt, doch heute ackern wir um, was gestern
liegengeblieben ist.
Yesterday the tractor
was broken, but
today we till, which remained from yesterday.
11 Through By The Mud
Also raus aufs Feld. Auch wenn im Feldweg ein Schlammloch lauert. Durch
durch den Dreck.
Thus out to the field.
Even if a slough
is waiting in the cartway. Through by the mud.
12 Smoke Your Cigar
Wenn der Traktor in der Garage steht, und ich am Abend auf der Hausbank
sitze, dann rauch ich mir eine an, und höre den Wind.
If
the trekker is parkeded in the garage,
and I am sitting on the house-bench in the evening, then I smoke one,
and listen the wind.
